    Summary

    Agott was sitting alongside the flowing river, rocks in her lap as she tossed them as she thought. Thought about her time at the atelier, thought about the other three girls, and thought about her mother. She wonders if by the time she finishes her apprenticeship with master Qifrey, if her mother will regret that she didn’t accept her as her own apprentice.
    She wonders what will become of the four girls when they grow older. Agott never really cared for friendships, but will they become strangers after living together for a few years? Agott was taught as a young child that friendships only bring people down and throw them off-course from their studies, but master Qifrey had taught her that instead of friendships being adverse, they can actually be beneficial.
