   Summary

   Cassie knew what was happening; she was a doctor, she was smart, she had suffered through panic attacks and subdrop before and come out the other side still breathing. It didn’t matter though, the diagnosis wasn’t the cure, and Cassie couldn’t stop the spiral if she tried. She needed to get to the bathroom, ground herself on the cool tiles, and ride the wave of emotion out alone. Cassie needed to move, and she needed to move now so that she didn’t wake her wife up. That is what she had convinced herself of, anyway.

   But what she actually needed was Dana.
