The two lay on a mattress. Their friends have left to get some props for Alex's student film, so they were left alone. Tim sat up, lighting a cigarette, not before asking if the other was alright with him doing so.
"I'm bored" Says Jay, Tim smiles as an idea comes to him.
"Ever smoked before?" He asks Jay, who shakes his head. "Wanna give it a try?" Jay swallowed, indecisive, but decided it was worth a try.
The man sits up and they inch closer. Tim hands Jay the cigarette, explaining:
"It's like sipping from a straw.. you'll get it"
"I feel like I'm gonna choke" Jay looks at the cig between his fingers, brows furrowed.
"Happens to the best of us" Jay smiles at that, locking eyes with Tim for a few seconds.
After taking a breath to calm his nerves, he takes a drag. He can barely hold it in for a few seconds as he starts coughing, Tim lightly pats his back trying to provide some comfort.
"I have an idea.." He says, taking the cigarette back and bringing it to his lips.
"What is it..?" Asks jay, wiping a tear from his face and coughing a bit more. Tim smiles and before Jay can react, he grabs the other's face and exhales the smoke into his mouth.
His idea did work, as Jay coughed less after inhaling it. Jay stares at Tim wide eyed, cheeks flushed.
"It worked" Tim smiles, going for another drag. When jay sees the man leaning in, he reciprocates, this time properly taking the smoke from Tim's mouth. Their lips barely brush together, sending shivers down Jay's back.
"We're back!" Can be heard from the front door, Jay and Tim immediately separate. It seems like Alex and Brian are back from the store.
After that day, the two share little glances when recording Marble Hornets, while Bri and Alex stay completely clueless.
