I'm excited for Inktober, so I'm hosting a oneshot/ficlet collection challenge
Anyway, here are the rules:
Relationships can be all platonic, romantic and queerplatonic.
Platonic and queerplationic relationships will be tagged with "&" later on.
Romantic ones will be tagged with "/".
Fluff, angst, romance(although I'm not good at writing romance but I'll try alright) are all allowed but please don't make me write smut or gore. The prompt has to either fit for General Audiences or for Teen and Up.
Adult/Minor relationships aren't allowed. I'm sorry but I'm not comfortable with this
Self-insert stories(xReader stories) with platonic and romantic relastionships are all allowed. The only exception to this is Larry/Reader. Lawrie/Reader is alright but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD don't ask me to make Larry/Reader I'll skin you alive if you ask for that
Some genders of the reader:
F!Reader(Female)
M!Reader(Male)
NB!Reader(Non-binary)
DG and DB!Reader(Demigirl and Demiboy)
I can't write OCs here yet I'm so sorry. Your current closest option is self-inserts.
The writing prompt may be a simple sentence or a short story with several sentences. However, if you want me to write in First, Second or Third POV(Limited, Rotating, Omnipresent) specifically in the work, mention it. If there's a romantic relationship, tell me if it's developing or already established.
I'm not that experienced in writing Omnipresent Third POV though so keep it in mind.
Examples:
"Character A and Character B bake a cake together in Place. It will be Character A's Pov in first person"
"Character C was just drinking Drink when Character D was found running from Character E. Character C was confused as hell. Third person omnipresent btw"
"Character F and Reader kiss. It's a Developing Relationship in Second Person POV of NB!Reader"
Just make the concept short enough to fit under 1k words. It's a ficlet collection overall
And lastly, don't pressure me into writing more. I have school and a shitload of homework so I only have hours to write stuff it's my first challenge so expect some beginner mistakes along the way
