Summary
They were never supposed to end.
Erling and Jude had built a life together in Dortmund - young, reckless, completely in love, and certain that nothing could tear them apart.
Then Jude leaves for Real Madrid.
At first, the distance is manageable. They call. They promise. They tell each other that nothing will change.
But Jude changes.
The late nights become unexplained. The messages become harder to answer. And eventually, Erling discovers there is someone else.
A kiss that shouldn't have happened. A secret that went far beyond one mistake. A betrayal Erling can never quite forgive.
When Erling finally leaves for Manchester City, whatever they had left is already beyond saving.
Years later, the memories are still there - the love, the lies, and everything Jude took from him.
But Erling isn't the same person Jude left behind.
And perhaps the most dangerous part of moving on is finding comfort in the one person who should have been completely off-limits.
Because Jude broke Erling's heart.
And sometimes, consequences have a way of coming back around.
