Chapter Text
{ An original broken heart became worse,
And the agony came first,
The only thing they knew tore them apart,
But maybe that was the perfect start,
A cold breeze pricked at their heart,
With the horrid smell of red metallic copper,
Tears fell and pain shot,
Maybe that was the sign they were torn apart,
Breaking piece by piece,
Shatters of the heart were left,
Nothing felt worse than this. }
...
Red couldn't help staring at the red metallic blood on Cyans beautifully pristine pale skin, though every thought shattered them more. They were devastated, but this concept was new. Grief, Red knew about it but never had felt it. Red swore they could feel the prick of Cyans soft kiss on their lips when they first met, and those romantic nights they had in bed, causing their absolute bliss. Nothing had felt more worse than this.
They weren't sure what to do, should they give up this feeling and meet someone new? But that would betray the one they once knew. The pain in Reds heart shattered them apart, piece by little piece until nothing was left except a void, of nothing like such mentioned bliss, they felt the opposite of bliss, agony. Everything they knew fell apart in just a week, they must be a simp to be this hurt after all, they just met.
Of all ways for Cyan to go, this shattered them the most, every thought sent them in a spiral as they started losing their abilities to breathe hitting them like a train wreck, the darkness was new to Reds soft heart, should they have knew better than to grieve so hard. Spots appeared everywhere as they became dizzy as they remembered one small thing.
...
Years ago..
"Mom! Scarlet won't stop bugging me!" Red exclaimed, with a whimper in their voice.
Their mom looked at them soft as they pulled Red into a hug "Your okay baby, Scarlet won't hurt you" she smiled.
"But--" Red begged "I don't want them to keep throwing toys at mee!" they cried.
Scarlet scoffed "But he's gay.." she cried out, leaving Red heartbroken as their mom dropped them.
"Ow! Why?" Red cryed.
"Get out of my house, little worm. You have no place here" Their mom explained, causing a tear to fall out of Reds eye.
Red couldn't help but cry. They were always weak, in their eye.
...
Thinking back those thoughts didn't help, the pain in their chest intensed as they kept falling in their retched thoughts.
They didn't know what felt worse, the agony of death or their mothers last wish. They didn't know how to properly respond when they heard a knock, that was the last thing they heard, before they passed out
...
They woke up in a oddly familiar room, hospital lights all through. They woke up in medbay, where they saw a shade of purple hair in the hallway.
Their face looked worried but cautious, which makes since because Purple thought Red was the alien on board, they could feel dried up tears on their cheeks as Purple starts to walk up to them but stops and turns back. Which wasn't all that new, since the accident years ago.
Red has never felt so alone before, it hurt like a knife to their heart, they didn't even know what to do, when something hurt this much when something you knew shatters right before you.
