It was supposed to be just an easy stake out mission. Who would have guessed another person was also on the look out for him?
Tim hadn't noticed he was basically being watched and followed for like half of the night, probably because of how sleep deprived and focused on the mission he was.
Reality only dawned on him when a kick in the head send him flying off of the rooftop.
He was fast enough to grip onto a window to not crash onto the floor and probably get a few broken rips.
With a swift motion and holding back his suprise did he land back onto the rooftop to see who had kicked him off. But there was.. nobody?
Tim was sure he was fast enough so he would still see someone. This was so weird. Maybe he really should finish this mission quickly and get some sleep.
With a sigh he wanted to settle back down on the roof, only to come face to face with Harley's hammer that sended him off the building now completely.
How did he not see her? Where was she hiding? But before any of that could be answered did he land in a trash container, wonderful, just wonderful.
Some laughter was coming from the other end of the alleyway, of course Joker is here too. This isn't good, wasn't he supposed to be in Arkham?
"Hey Oracle, you listening? Jokers out, near the port-"
That's all he could say before he needed to dodge another attack of Harley. What did they two want from him?
"Oh, the lil birdy keeps hoping around!" The guy dressed in purple cackled as he finally was close to Tim.
"Aren't you supposed to be in Arkham right now?"
"Well, where's the fun in that, junior?"
Tim flinched as he started laughing like a maniac in a way too loud volume.
This isn't good, he needs to get away from the two, or them locked up. He choose last and strikes forward for another attack.
For some reason the two adults were faster than him, probably the sleep deprivation slowing him down, because Harley almost struck him with the hammer again and she spun around.
No, he can't let her hit him, not again, they can't take him again.
Tim doesn't know where this sudden panic came from, probably from Jokers laughter, wow, now he and Jason have something in common.
The hammer went spinning just centimetres from his face, Tim quickly fell back onto the floor.
But that wasn't good, at all, because now Joker grabbed him from behind and twisted his arm.
He grunted and tried ripping his arm away, to his suprise did Joker actually let him go and Tim crashed against the nearest wall.
Blood began to trip down his nose, he tried whipping it away with his hand, staring down at the blood on it now.
It distracted him so much that he completely forgot Harley and Joker, who for some reason got syringes now in their hand.
What?
Shit.
Tim scrambled to his feet and jumped up, his ankle being grabbed and pulled back down, head slamming against the wall again.
"Oh lil JJ! No running from us!" Harley chirped happily as she leaned down to him on the floor.
"No! Go away!" He panicked and tried kicking his limbs around.
Harley and Joker pushed him more to the floor and inserted the syringes into his arms, giggling while doing so.
Tim squirmed to no use.
In the next moment but was joker pulled off him and batman stood before him, looking worried down at him.
But for this was now not really time, first things first is dealing with joker. So now B was busy with that.
Tim wasn't feeling so well, Harley was still holding him down.
He must have blacked out or something like that because the next time he wakes up were Joker and Harley running away and he was laying in the dumpster again.
More blood was tickling down his face and his arm was numb. Tim couldn't help but giggle at that.
Wait, giggles?
He suddenly was picked up, right, Batman.
Tim just smirked up at him with blood between his teeth.
"Tim.. we're going home" B grunted, though he sounded worried.
"Who's Tim? Pft! I'm completely fine!"
He tried rolling out of B's grip, who only held him tighter.
"No you're not, we're going home... Junior?"
JJ just huffed but didn't protest anymore. Actually was it good they're now going, he couldn't move his arm after all.
After a few minutes in the batmobile he began to drift off with Batman watching him, promising he'll be fine.
