Summary
In a bid to end the First Wizarding War, Albus Dumbledore arranges a secret, magically binding marriage pact between the ancient and noble magical houses of Malfoy and Potter. When they come of age, the child of Lily and James shall marry the child of Lucius and Narcissa. Dumbledore hopes that this marriage will be the start of a new alliance to defeat Voldemort and heal the wounds in the wizarding world.
It fails. But Voldemort still dies. Harry Potter is left orphaned and scarred, and the magical world moves on. The marriage bond, however, is enforced by magic itself, and cannot be broken.
Fifteen years later, Harry Potter learns that the haughty, sneering, beautiful Dracina Malfoy, a girl who has tormented him for years, is to be his wife. He braces for a lifetime of hell.
Except…Dracina doesn’t seem as outraged as she should be. And he doesn’t know why.
He’ll know soon, though. Will he ever.
