Chapter Text
Hey, guys! I wanted to give you a guide to the world of Trolls Chronicles. This first part covers the basics of the worldbuilding and power system, so you'll have some background before we dive into the story.
Worldbuilding
1. The Grand Blue
The Grand Blue is the largest ocean in the Trolls Chronicles universe. Like the Grand Line in One Piece, it contains many islands and regions—but the Grand Blue is a vast ocean, not a route circling the world. Some of its islands are as large as countries.
The ocean is home to dangerous creatures that lurk in its deepest waters, as well as treacherous seas that make travel perilous. Some areas remain unexplored, leaving room for the discovery of ancient societies and unknown territories as the story unfolds.
2. Tribes, regions, and factions
Trolls are divided into six tribes: Techno, Classical, Country, Funk, Rock, and Pop.
The Grand Blue is divided into four major regions: the North, South, East, and West. Each region is home to two main tribes:
East: Techno and Classical West: Country and Funk South: Rock and Pop
Each tribe has its own territory within its region. Some subgenres are also associated with particular areas. For example, K-pop can be found in the South, while Reggaeton is found between the Eastern and Southern regions.
The two main groups in this story are the Pirates and the Marines, similar to those in One Piece. The story won't include groups like the Celestial Dragons, though it will feature other groups with some similarities.
Other familiar species, such as the Bergens and Cloud People, are part of this world, along with some new creatures. The Vacationers and the Rageons won't appear, but Brandy, Velvet, and Veneer will—all as Trolls. Brandy is a Funk Troll, while Velvet and Veneer are Pop Trolls.
Some creatures from the Trolls universe, including the Caterbus, Angler Bus, and Armadillo Buses, won't be making an appearance. Sorry, Rhonda fans!
3. The power system
The power system in this story is one I created called the Relic Power System.
Relics are powerful artifacts or weapons with unique abilities. Certain Trolls, known as Wielders, can draw out those abilities through the bond they share with a relic. This process is called resonance.
Relics choose the Wielders they consider worthy of wielding them.
That's all you need to know for now. More details will be revealed as the story progresses. I hope you enjoy the guide and join me on this amazing adventure through the world of Trolls Chronicles!
