   Summary

   Coyote is still trying to catch the Road Runner.

   That’s when he’s stopped—and nearly “attacked”—by a female of the same
   species as his nemesis. Coyote eventually realizes that the female is about to lay
   an egg. He asks for her help so that her bird will take on its responsibilities.
   Is the Road Runner going to be a dad?

   Confused, Coyote does what he thinks is right: he takes the bird to the cave,
   makes sure to keep it warm and fed... And when the egg hatches, he’ll become
   the slightly crazy “uncle.” He uses the egg as bait, thinking he’ll be able to catch
   the new father more easily.

   But why do all the desert carnivores want to eat this egg?!
