Summary
He felt his face flush red hot at the sight. The mystical creature tilted its head to the side, examining him. Its claws clicked against the floor as it crawled slowly towards Flynn.
A sweet smell hit him, filling his nostrils, and the feeling that came after was almost overwhelming. A searing heat all over him; his whole body felt like it was on fire. His heartbeat was loud in his ears, and his breath caught in his throat. The creature made a humming sound.
Suddenly, a soothing voice came up in his head that was not his own.
“Be not afraid.”
Flynn bumps into a vase in the library and gets a surprise of a lifetime.
