    Summary

"For all of Buck’s faults, he really was sweet in almost a puppy-like way. It was no wonder that Bobby had taken a shine to him and kept pushing forward, kept trying, even if most captains would have washed the probie out by now, calling him a lost cause. He wasn’t sure what exactly their captain saw in him, but even Eddie could admit that the whole team, himself included, had become rather fond of their new, young, addition to the family."

Or, single father Eddie Diaz doesn't know what to think when 26 year old hot shot Evan Buckley joins the 118. Lucky for him... Buck is gonna show him exactly what he's all about. A 5+1 where it's 5 times Eddie saves Buck from his mistakes, plus the 1 time they make a mistake together.
