    "Go back to sleep. You need it."

    Eddie peeks out of one eye up at Volt. "I already took last night off, just like you asked me to." Then he wipes a hand over his face and holds himself up over Volt's torso. "You can't keep me down forever, lightning bug."

    "Is that a challenge?"

    Eddie rolls his eyes. "No." Volt takes it as one regardless when he starts to move away and gets out from under the covers. Eddie needs rest. And one way or another, Volt will make Eddie stay in this bed.

    He pounces on Eddie, gripping him by the back of the neck and shoving his face down into the pillows. When he leans over Eddie's back, the sound that comes out of him is not so much annoyed as it is aroused. Volt grins and presses his lips to Eddie's ear. It's beginning to turn bright red, like the rest of his face. "It is my job to ensure that you are taken care of, Eddie. I know you're not fully recovered from the last few days. You're not going to deny me my purpose, are you?"
