   Summary

   She makes eye contact with a lone white-tailed deer, staring intently at her. The two of them partake in a staring contest for a long moment before a branch snaps somewhere, sending the deer reeling. Rhaenyra watches it disappear back into the thrush. With a heavy sigh, she runs a hand through her hair and turns toward the light that breaks through the trees. Time to go home and start her day, forgetting whatever the hell happened last night.

   Alicent hunts. Not game, but monsters. When her friend and partner in crime, Mysaria, presents her with reports of a werewolf in a rural Wyoming community, Alicent figures it'll be a regular job.
