Work Text:

"GARROTH!" Laurance shrieked from the shower when the water turned freezing cold. "STOP MESSING WITH THE STUPID WATER HEATER!"

Although he was in the basement, he was able to hear his boyfriend scream at the top of his lungs, which made him laugh so much his stomach hurt.

He went up the stairs and was met with a very annoyed, very pissed off Laurance, who was dripping water everywhere while he held the towel around his waist tightly. "What the hell was that for?!"

Garroth wanted to reply, he really did, but he was too busy picturing Laurance as a wet dog; not trying to defend himself in the slightest.

That's when he began to laugh all over again, tears coming to his eyes.

"Y-Your face! You should s-see your face right now!" Garroth managed to say, wiping his face with his hoodie sleeve.

Laurance's irritated look didn't falter. If anything, it strengthened. "Oh, it is SO on, Garroth Ro'Meave. Just you wait."

And with that, he stomped to his room, already thinking of ways to seek his revenge.

Garroth yawned as he walked into the kitchen the next morning, stretching his arms over his head. He grabbed a mug from the cupboard, poured some coffee into it, and put three scoops of sugar.

Well, he thought it was sugar.

Right after he took a sip, he spat it out, spraying black coffee all over everything within a three feet radius.

"LAURANCE!" He shouted, rushing over to the sink to rinse his mouth out, wishing for the taste of salt to get off of his tastebuds.

Striding into the kitchen, Laurance leaned against the entrance frame of the kitchen, crossing his arms whilst smirking. "Don't like a taste of your own medicine, do you?"

"You're such a child," Garroth muttered once he stood up straight. "Swapping sugar for salt is literally the oldest trick in the book."

"Yet you still fell for it," Laurance shot back, smug.

Garroth sighed and put his hands in his pockets. "Let's just call this off right now. We both know how quickly these pranks will escalate."

Pouting slightly, Laurance nodded. Garroth held out one of his hands. "Truce?"

Laurance reached out to shake his boyfriend's hand, but was instead greeted by a sharp zap up his arm, making him yelp and yank back his hand.

Before he could even register what happened, Garroth was trying very hard not to laugh... again.

The brunette's eye twitched, and he pounced onto Garroth with a deafening war cry, dragging him to the ground.

The two of them wrestled for minutes, and while they were doing so, Zane came down the stairs, blatantly ignoring the two idiots on the ground.

He went to go pour himself coffee, just like his brother did moments ago.

Laurance and Garroth halted their fighting, watching Zane do the biggest mistake he possibly could.

It was in slow motion; Zane bringing the mug to his lips, immediately spitting saliva-coffee everywhere.

"WHAT THE IN THE IRENE!?" The youngest one in the house sputtered, gagging into the sink.

That was all they needed.

Garroth and Laurance hooted with laughter, enjoying Zane's demise while he yelled at them over and over.

There was no chance these pranks were ever going to stop.
