    The cursed thing was covered, wrapped like a mummy in a pile of blankets, mostly soft greens and deep blues. The entirety of it transformed into a watercolor backdrop of a rainy day. A few pillows were scattered on the floor in front of the couch, drops of purple and black onto the canvas. Discarded from the mountain of comfort after trying their best to hang on throughout the day. A tragic tale, if Yuuta thought hard enough.

    The pile itself completely still, devoid of all life.

    But, Yuuta knows better.

    He lets out a sigh of relief as he quietly lifts himself off the ground and closes the door.

    Good, he hasn't woken Toge.

    Or

    Yuuta (witch) and Toge (vampire) have been able to live together without incident... kinda.
