AU: Greek Mythology
When Sydney, the demigod daughter of Athena, is sent into the dark Underforge on a deadly assignment, she quickly realizes it's an execution trap set by her own mother. She was meant to be sacrificed to Carmen, the exiled God of the Twin Fires and God Killer, rotting in solitude among the cinders of his cold hearth.
But Sydney isn't interested in dying for fickle gods and their Olympian games and politics. Instead, she offers Carmen a partnership: rebuild the forge, light the hearth, and turn the trap back on the gods who set it.
Not really new work, but one I dusted off for a tumblrina who encouraged me to post this AU I wrote ages ago but never posted. Inspired by JAW looking like a Greek statue (lol) and the Percy Jackson series.
