    “I’d like to do this for you, Grace.” Driver smoothly unlocked the passenger side door, opened the glove box and took out a hand towel which he offered to the older man. “If you’d let me.”

    Grace found the confidence to look back at his student. Wrong decision. Driver held a small, almost timid smile, giving the general aura of a dog stuck out in the rain despite being the one who was dry.

    “Please.” Driver added.

    Damn it! An earnest ‘please’ was one (of many) of Grace’s weaknesses!

    Or: A 40-year-old Grace who's a GED prep night schoolteacher and just a little bit insecure gets offered a ride home by a 20-year-old Driver, who is head over heels for his teacher. They spend a wonderful night together, but Grace can't seem to get over his very conflicted feelings about the whole situation.
