When Kevin was younger, he babysat Paige for his sister. When he was much younger, he dated Buddy Crane. These two things should have no correlation. But after Paige finds out they used to date, she decides Uncle Kevin needs to rekindle an old flame.
Kevin would rather forget Buddy ever existed, especially knowing that he was the one who made the decision to end things—and hasn't exactly forgiven himself for it. Plus, of course, the trial didn't help how they view eachother.
Unfortunately, Buddy needs a favor. With his reputation ruined after the ACME case and Kevin now a familiar face on television, he's hoping his ex can put in a good word.
Paige thinks this is fate. Kevin wishes she were still the sweet little girl he babysat, back when she'd made up her own list of dating rules, number four being a very firm "never ever ever never get back with your ex."
