Work Text:
It was almost dusk, the sky was starting to show all the reds, oranges and yellows of the sunset, even as looked from the Court of the Fountain, that faced East.
Faramir was admiring its serene beauty, when he was joined by Èowyn. She stood beside him, a silent, welcomed presence. He put an arm on her back, and she moved a little closer.
They stayed like that, hugging, admiring the sky slowly turning to lovely shades of purple.
They didn’t need to talk to know that they were thinking the same thing: looking East had never felt so peaceful.
