Summary
Park Sunghoon grew up believing that he had no right to want more from life. His parents made sure he understood that food on his plate and a roof over his head were privileges he should be grateful for, not things he deserved. So he learned to swallow his wishes, silence his longing and convince himself that wanting anything beyond survival was selfish.
