Summary
Instead of reacting in any normal, truly human way, Minho tilts his head. "I don't feel hot." He lifts a hand and presses it to his forehead.
"Not temperature hot," Jisung snaps, the correction automatic. Teaching Minho how to be alive is second nature now, and the words leave his mouth before Jisung even has time to decide whether or not he deserves the explanation. "Hot as in attractive. Sexy."
Minho lets that settle for a moment. Then, "You think I'm sexy?"
Jisung turns away with a frustrated sigh.
"Is that why you wanted me to be good-looking?" Minho asks from where he stands feet away. There's no accusation in his tone, not like earlier at the science fair. He seems genuinely curious. "Were you planning on having sex with me later?"
The question hits Jisung like a slap to the face, and he immediately freezes. Heat rushes back into his face—a mixture of anger, mortification, hatred for Minho. He spins back around, his eyes wide. "Excuse me?"
In the name of science, Jisung created life from nothing. Unfortunately, that life, Minho, turned out to be a total asshole.
