Summary
Peter had spent nearly two years now knowing the Avengers and hiding his past from them. In all honesty, it wasn't necessarily hiding as much as it was… not mentioning it. Granted, he had made up the whole being raised by his aunt and uncle who'd now passed away thing, but other than that, he wasn't really lying to them. Withholding information wasn't lying.
Peter ignored the little voice in his head that said it was still manipulation. So what if it was true? Peter wasn't exactly raised with being a good and moral person in mind. Not that Peter was very keen on following the morals he was raised with.
