Summary
Several people emerged from the darkness, burly men dressed in black. At the center of the group, wearing a white suit that shone like a beacon, was the most beautiful man Wei Ying had ever seen.
Golden eyes blazed like frozen fire from beneath thick black lashes, and his pale, jade skin was flushed from the cold. Long ink black hair hung freely around his shoulders. The only things that took away from the ethereal beauty of the man were the scowl on his face and the gun in his hand.
It gleamed sinisterly in the low light as the man moved, lighting quick, to press the gun to Wei Ying’s temple.
He stopped breathing entirely as the man towered over him.
This beautiful man was going to kill him, and there wasn’t anything he could do about it. Tears sprang to his eyes.
“I didn’t see anything, I swear. Please, just let me go, and I’ll pretend nothing ever happened,” he begged, tears falling down his face, even as the warm metal pressed into the side of his head.
Wei Ying just wanted to sleep. Instead, he stumbled across a murder. In the aftermath, nothing goes the way he expected it to.
