Summary
It was an easy decision to pull the trigger. It was a little harder to take his brothers with him and run. It was even harder to tell his brothers to stay put at their estranged uncle's door before Court left. But, it was for the best. He'd be found, and at least the twins would still be together and somewhere safe. Only, the police didn't find him. Instead, some rugged looking man did and decided to just take him in.
Holland March was a terrible father who cheated old ladies out of their money. He had no redeeming qualities, but waking up in the late morning to a knock at his door, he didn't expect to find his two younger nephews asking for him and looking like they both got hit by a car. He can't get any explanations from them, but he knew enough that they would be safer under his roof than wherever they were before.
OR
Court brings his brothers, Ryland and Colt, across the country after killing their dad and leaves them with their Uncle March before running again, only to be taken in by Jackson Healy. Story starts a few weeks before the Amelia case starts.
