“Alright then?” Bryan asks, worry clear across his face. He doesn’t let go of Leon’s hand and pulls him forward slightly to look him over for any injuries.
“Ye-yeah. I’m fine… Thank you.” He stands there, eyes still unable to leave Bryan’s, whose face starts to get increasingly redder. Bryan lets Leon’s hand go and turns to his left, seeing the hospital in the distance.
His eyes light up, and he gives Leon a pat on his chest before raising his gun, ready to continue on their journey. “Come on, baby.” As he shuffles away, Leon just watches, enamored by the man.
He finally shakes his head again, trying to regain some professional composure. He is the cop after all. Even though Bryan is older, he should be trying to protect Bryan, not just ogling at him. Ogling is a strong word. Perhaps just admiring him? Shit, maybe ogling is right, but he doesn’t have time to unpack that right now. They have a cure to deliver.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
