Summary
Oscar has spent most of his life owing the church more than he knows how to repay. Lando Norris has spent his trying to outrun a past he cannot forgive himself for.
In a small Southern town where the summers are merciless and everyone knows everyone else’s business, they find something neither of them expected in the quiet of an old church.
Sometimes, leaving is an act of faith. Sometimes, forgiveness begins with letting yourself want something.
