Chapter Text
Jason didn't know what to expect when he got to Tim's apartment. He'd gotten the call from O about 6 minutes ago now. Anyone nearby was to be at his location ASAP. When Jason kicked the door down, he expected to find it clean, maybe a little messed up but not..this. There was at least a month's worth of dishes all piled up in the sink, the curtains were all closed, drawn tight. The floor, sofa and almost every surface was covered in files, random papers and empty coffee cups. It was honestly a depressing sight. Aside from all of that, the most concerning part was, there was no Tim in sight. At least not until he entered the bathroom. It was horrible. No words could describe how he felt pushing open that bathroom door and seeing his brother, his baby brother, a boy he'd spent most of his time knowing making up for what happened at that tower, unconscious in a pool of his own blood. His wrists were slit to the point that he could see a disgusting, yellow layer of fat. He froze, just for a moment before rushing forwards and scooping him up into his shaking arms. He scrambled to reach for a nearby towel, desperately putting pressure on the wound.
"O do you copy?" Jason whispered into his com, hoping she was there. Hoping that she could get help as quickly as possible. "Yes I copy, Hood whats going on." Came her almost instant reply. He could hear her typing frantically, the tapping of the keys oddly soothing given the nature of the scenario. "I.." His voice cracked and he paused, finding it hard to speak. Swallowing the lump in his throat, he tried again, "What's everyone's eta..", a moment passed before Babs replied, "Nightwing is 2 minutes out and Batman and Robin should be arriving in a few seconds."
Jason took a few deep breaths. Just because he'd connected with Tim, doesn't mean he was particularly fond of Batman and his newest Robin. Damian Wayne. He was arrogant, violent and seemed to believe that he was god's gift. Or atleast that's how he felt. Jason honestly didn't really know the kid but in the few brief interactions they'd had, he was already beginning to dislike him. That was when Batman and Robin decided to crash in through a window. (Rather dramatic but who was he to talk..) he couldn't see them but he knew it was them. He let out a quick whistle so that they'd know where he was before refocusing on Tim. Oh Tim.
Fuck he looked really pale. Just as Bruce and his newest replacement rushed in through the bathroom door, his favourite replacement woke up.
