Summary
Graecie hummed a soft tune as she exited the Academy. She hopped down the trail, smelling the air. A firefly drifted past her, and she gasped. Graecie followed after it, off the beaten path towards the woods.
She didn’t notice the shadow weaving through the trees, watching her, until its eyes were illuminated by the moonlight, bright white. A hulking shape, covered head to toe—or tail—in thick fur. It stepped forward, and Graecie gasped. It was a massive wolf, staring straight at her. It let out a huff, seemingly sniffing her.
