    “Haitham I was drunk.” Kaveh squeaked, hoping his face wasn't too pink. 

    “I’m frustrated it took you being drunk to notice.” Alhaitham admitted.

    Kaveh blinked. Did… he hear that correctly? No no…. He had to be asleep still. Maybe even drunk at the tavern still. There was no way Alhaitham had feelings for him. It was Alhaitham after all. But his scent didn't lie. The sourness was beginning to dissipate. His normal scent was returning as turquoise eyes finally met red ones.
