"why me.." Firey groaned into his pillow.
Leafy sat sympathetically next to him, lightly rubbing circles on his back as he whined.
He'd been like this since he'd gotten a crush on none other than Coiny, his one rival.
"I shouldn't even like him! he's so annoying and perfectly aggravating -and just so annoyingly handsome!-" Firey blurted out without even thinking, whining more about the ironics before he paused, a bright flush creeping up his neck.
"I didn't just say that aloud, right?" He'd asked before his face flushed tenfold giving it an even more crimson hue as he realized he indeed had.
It was almost funny.
Firey was crushing on the one person he was least supposed to crush on.
It'd be less ridiculous even if he was crushing on someone like Spongey! or...literally anyone!
Firey then turned towards Leafy, nervously itching the back of his neck.
"So.. uhh. You're gonna help me confess to him." Firey stated with no room for an objection.
"And no 'buts' you know I can't do this without you-"
Leafy giggled softly, fidgeting with one of the layered bracelets on her wrists.
"Alright Firey, I'll help."
