Summary
Thin body curled beside the cot, whispering apologies into Ivan’s sweat-drenched sheets.
Apologies to someone who should’ve been resting, recovering — not decaying in a bed, kept alive by nothing but stubbornness.
It wasn’t supposed to go like this.
Not after all the blood spilled in the rain,
And aching love laced through the pain.
Not when their fight was far from done
Not when his heart had just begun—
To call Ivan the only one.
_______
Or: Ivan (kind of) survives round 6. (and he's not doing well)
_______
I'll be very happy to see your thoughts on my work, so don't be shy!

Summary
You were an ordinary maintenance worker, part of the crew of the Aurora when it crash-landed on an alien world and left you stranded in a hostile ocean. There are probably worse places to be stuck; at least the scenery is pretty, and you've always been passionate about marine life and alien research.
...what exactly did your PDA mean by "multiple leviathan class lifeforms?"
