“How’d you get here?” asked the Doctor, still examining the yellow note pinned to the TARDIS door.
“Same way you did,” replied the bedraggled traveller, pointing at a transport pod. “Parking ticket. Instant transmat to this place. I hadn’t even had a chance to pay, just zapped off into this holding zone. No warning.”
The Doctor frowned, chin tucking back against her chest, shoulders rising, nose crinkling in distaste.
“That’s not right, is it?” she looked around the junkyard of abandoned ships, shuttles, and sundry other transport modes. “Come on, I want a word with the local traffic warden.”
