   Summary

   Inspiration taken from a TTTE fan made story called Spiteful Gesture and the story involves 98462 bullying Edward.

   This AU takes place in a world where the engines are sentient beings and don’t need a driver or fireman to move but humans do assist the engines in the world. There is a little magic in this AU.

   Some strange goings on have been happening since the Fat Controller was away having surgery on the mainland and an assistant controller. 98462 is trying to get Edward scrapped so he can be the number 2 engine on the Island of Sodor. James has volunteered to stay with Edward and keep him safe.

   I may extend this story but I haven’t written in 12 years so my grammar and wording is a bit on the rusty side, so I will see where this story takes me. This may be reposted as I'm not quite happy with the characteristics of the characters and may re-write some parts.
