Chapter Text

//God this is boring! Can‘t i do something else for once instead of just sitting here?//, TCO groaned mentally. It has been exactly 2 years now since he was created and during all that time he was mostly locked up in that stupid chest and since he was chained to this stupid iron ball he had barely any space in it.

He really hated being in the Avast chest, not only was it really cramped in there but it was also extremely dark and worst of all there was NOTHING to do in there.

There were no sounds, no light and there was no one to talk to. It was just him and the rattling of the chain whenever he moved his foot. TCO might have a bit less of a problem with this if he was let out of it at least for one hour everyday, but that‘s just wishful thinking. Because the creator would let him out at the most random and irregular times.

Sometimes he was let out for multiple hours on one day, then he was left in the chest for maybe 3-5 days or he was being pulled out multipel times a day for a short amount of time each.

To say it was aggravating for TCO was an understatement. What really annoyed him is when the created would for a certain period of time pull him out regularly, but then when the black stick figure just started to get used to that routine, he stops and goes back to doing it randomly.

But even being let out of the chest wasn‘t any better honestly. Since he was chained to an iron ball TCO could only move as far as the chain would allow it, which was 10 steps, and since he was unable to move the ball he had to sit wherever his creator had decided to drop or toss him.

Speaking of tossing him, that’s another reason why being out of the chest wasn‘t that much better. Imagine being pulled out of a dark, small space after 3 days and the first thing that happens it that you‘re hanging upside down from, being hold up painfully by the iron ball that is tightly chained to your ankle and before you fully realize what is going on you‘re being thrown to the other side of the screen, landing painfully on your stomach or back and if you‘re really unlucky the iron ball lands on you and you have to wait until your creator pities you enough to remove it.

So yeah, this has been TCOs life so for. Being either locked up in the dark or used as an add-blocker/a toy to throw around. The first few months he would fight back or purposefully be a nuisance, but he quickly stop when the creator responded by drowning him in a tank full of water out of which he couldn‘t escape do to the iron ball.

Now the young stick figure was just sitting in the corner half awake and watches as his creator is drawing something. His creator had left a few minutes ago though so nothing was currently happening. After a while his eyes start to wonder and land on the paint brush tool above him.

He paused for a moment and wondered of he‘d be able to knock it down to him if he throws an ice ball at it. //I think that might actually work. If I have to sit here then I can at least do something more productive with my time.// and with that sat in he slowly stood up and began to form a small ice ball in his hand and aimed it at the paint brush.

But when he threw it it didn‘t knock off the paint brush but the eraser instead. TCO caught it and rubber the back of his head „Not exactly what I was aiming for but I‘m sure I can make it work. I could throw it at the creator drawing and erase some of-“

„Erase…“, he stopped and looked down on the iron ball. „Wait is it possible…could this really work?“, the black stick bent down and brushed against the surface of the ball with the eraser and to his surprise and excitement it actually erased the part he brushed he brushed against. Not wasting any time he grabbed the chain and erased its connection to the shackle around his ankle.

He didn‘t erase the shackle for now since he didn‘t want to accidentally cut of his foot. Now that he was free he immediately ran toward the Wi-Fi symbol at the other side of the screen and punched it until it broke open.

He peeled it open and came face to face with with a white, bright tunnel, that seemed to want to suck him in. TCO stood there and stared for a moment, he had spend his whole life in the PC and doesn‘t know what awaits him, but anything is better than staying here with his creator. So without looking back TCO took a deep breath and jumped in.
