Work Text:
Omar always prepared himself for anything possible while unexpected during the second world war.
Bombs? In a cruelty way Fair enough to expect.
A surprise attacks? Totally understandable.
Betrayals? It is also as important as any other organized plans to be ready for, because you can expect explosions and shootings at any second but no one can prepare you for something that doesn’t need a strategy to dodge or aim at it.
The jew bear wakes him up over the night to help him hide a body? Well…
This isn’t what he signed up for
when Aldo Raine gathered Jewish-Americans to join him. But for clearing his point, yes, Donowitz always was had that energy of a black bear when it comes to hunting and smashing nazi’s heads, but calling Omar specifically without getting everyone up was on a next level.
“A body?”
“Yes.”
“A nazi’s one?”
“Yes.”
“And you decided to kill him.. by your own?"
"If you're gonna just ask me obvious questions, we might not be able to get away from this."
"..We?...I didn't volunteer for this Donowitz." Omar looked at him with pure confusion in his face, he wasn't going to question 'why this guy?' but he was definitely questioning his presence here 'why Donny put me on charge of this responsibility that I have zero business with it?'
Omar looked around the woods, wanted to make sure that the only available humans in this are are him and the bear jew and a random dead nazi civilian. Lucky them, the only alive concerning topic was Donny smashed this guy's head horribly and you couldn't recognize his face feature at all. His nose looked like a dough and His skull was scattered around his face like shards of plaster, while his brain—resembling a pudding amidst these fragments—presented a truly repulsive sight. Every single one of his finger joints had been so thoroughly mangled that, even if the day ever came to identify the body, it would be impossible to do so via fingerprints. Furthermore—regarding the impossibility of identification—it should be noted that there was no sign of teeth to be found within what remained of the face.
Donny wasn't helping at him understand the situation cause he already handed Omar a big shovel for digging.
Omar took a long moment of silence after shifting his gaze from the object to the person who has the object, "Should i even have to ask why am i here?"
"Actually yes that's relevant" Donny answered him without a single hesitation in both of his tone and look, it was a horrible way to realize that Donny simply is enjoying this.
"That doesn't make it less mysterious."
"Just..." Donny moved the shovel toward Omar's face, "Take this and don't tell Aldo."
"Why? Because that's against his rules?-"
"No-"
"-I mean we know why we are here, to kill nazis without mercies and i guess .. this is sorta correct-" Omar took a step back, still didn't take the shovel.
"Omar-"
"Well maybe it's not but assuming this is correct, what can we do? I mean what else options do we have here with your single mission on killing a random nazi without a plan- "
"Omar, remember that bar we went last week?" Donny interrupted him with an irrelevant question.
Omar blinked, "What does that bar have to do this?" he asked.
"Remember that nazi guy who you got on his nerves and suspicious of you being Jew"
"Aha- wait what?" Omar controlled his volume not to get louder, "Really?"
"I mean.. I guess-"
"What do you mean I guess?!? Why is he involved-" His word cut off, he just found out the connection between this and that guy, this was the guy they were burying it, now he know this was a whole week before and them inglorious could focus on the main attractions of the danger, but also being suspicious about one of them was also dangerous, he can't just figure it out why Donny solve this problem alone and brought him, was he going to give him a survival instinct type of advice to make people around less interested in him? or there was some intentions behind it, "Why?" All he could ask after all of this information revealing.
"Because I wanted to save your ass," He confessed, "your welcome by the way" That's it, that is his excuse, saving Omar while that Nazi probably wasn't targeting him or even remembered him a little, it was Donny and his chaotic obsessed behavior toward the boy he loved and Omar unfortunately realized that in a weridest way.
"Give me that." Omar grabbed the shovel with a slight smirk and start digging.
