Summary
"Hyunjin?" Lix questions, a hand holding the door open. "Is everything okay? Did we forget something?"
Hyunjin doesn't answer. She just steps forward.
Lix naturally moves aside, either too afraid to rock the boat in such an obvious way or too startled to think to block her, and Hyunjin walks straight into the room without incident.
The door clicks shut, automatically locking. They're alone. Again.
Lix turns to face Hyunjin again. "What's going on?" She crosses her arms over her chest. Now she's shy?
Hyunjin reaches into her sweatpants pocket, pulling out the USB drive. She holds it up.
"I went through your laptop while you were in the bathroom earlier," Hyunjin explains. "I saw your photos. And videos. Downloaded a bunch—forty-nine total—and they're all on here."
Hyunjin admires her coworker, but said coworker, Lix, seems to feel differently. Hyunjin decides to burn the bridge—but first—she’s going to have some fun.
