The older man leans in again. Whatever he says makes her eyes widen, and then a slow, unmistakably hungry grin spreads across her face. Pulling away to look at him, she nods eagerly, her expression shifting into something naughty. The fact that her lashes lower and her pink tongue briefly flicks across her bottom lip leaves no doubt that the conversation has swiftly turned explicit.
Chan's stomach tightens.
The man glances over his shoulder at a nearby table. He lifts a hand, gesturing for someone to come and join them. A second man stands up, leaving his drink behind.
It's obvious what the men are angling for. They're both touching her, both chatting her up, both watching the way she knowingly wraps her lips around her straw to sip her liquid courage. She's encouraging them—flirting, leaning in, letting them touch her. With every second she plays along, the hotter Chan's blood boils.
Chan encounters a very beautiful, and very popular, woman at the bar. That woman is his boyfriend, Felix.
