Work Text:

Love's sickness is tough, you know, no matter who you are

”Meg! I’m literally dying!” Apollo exclaimed

This idiot I thought. He was just sick with the common cold after overworking himself. He always did get very oblivious to his tiredness when he’s doing things like studying medicine, playing music, reading, writing poetry, doing all of that at once (Don’t ask).

“Apollo, it’s just a cold. Plus you cant die, you’re immortal.” Lityerses said

Oh Lityerses, he was helping me feed this idiot medicine because he’s too convinced this is his last say on earth. He even asked his son, Ialemus, to make a funeral hymn! Apollo and Lityerses are so oblivious that they’re together in everything but a label, it’s so annoying.

”Yeah, but I’m the god of healing! I don’t get sick!” Apollo paused “gods don’t even get sick unless I bestow the plague on them.”

Bestow the plague Seriously? I thought

“Just drink your medicine.” Lityerses insisted

“I’m basically dying, Wait! I see the light!” Apollo gasped

Dramatic as ever, I thought. The “light” he was talking about, was just the sun. You know, the thing he’s the god of.

”Apollo, that’s the sun you idiot.” I exclaimed

”Ugh, I hate lights.” was all he said

“The enemy is closer than you think.” I said

He was literally the god of light. What kind of god of light, hates light?

”Drink your medicine.” Lit persisted

”No.”

”Yes.”

”No.”

”Yes.”

“Yes.”

”No.”

”Ugh, you got me.” Lit complained “You still have to drink your medicine though.”

Apollo stuck his tongue out at him. He was mature like that.

“I’ll get you scones form that cafe you like, if you drink the medicine.” Lit bargained

”Deal.”

Lit handed Apollo a pack of pills and a glass of cold water. Apollo popped one pill out and drank it.

”Nice.” I said

”Get me scones.” He demanded

“Fineee.” Lit rolled his eyes
