   Erik said the words while walking away, but he had a vivid recollection as he did so that made Charles suck in his breath. Erik’s memory was of the two of them in a hotel room in 1962: Erik was on his knees, his body under Charles’ control. Erik’s arousal at being mentally controlled colored the whole scene.
