Chapter Text
“Good morning,” Comes Akito’s voice as Toya blinks his eyes open. It’s almost noon.
“Morning…” Toya replies, voice still raspy. He reaches down to kiss Akito on his forehead. The ginger’s warm and cozy, with the prince wrapped around him. He likes it, what with winter just around the corner.
“You up for brunch?”
“Later, too cozy,” Toya says, and pulls Akito snugly against him. They stay like that for a while.
The room is dark, with the curtains drawn shut. Toya liked falling asleep in the dark. He finds it calming. Akito will fall asleep anywhere as long as he’s in Toya’s arms.
But it’s not long before the room lights up with a flash, coming from the nightstand on Akito’s side.
“What’s that?” Toya pouts, as Akito abruptly sits up, reaching for the stand. There, he sees the small enchanted mirror that’s tied to Ena’s.
He immediately connects to it and—
Ena’s not even in the frame. The small mirror is laying on something, propped up to show words carved into the wood of a tree. It’s in Ena’s writing, and he can tell she’d use some sort of spell to imprint out there, or else it wouldn’t be as neat.
It starts: Akito, don’t panic…
Once he finishes reading— he most definitely panics.
“She made a blood pact with the vampire?!”
