Chapter Text
"Dazai, don't tell me that ...." Chuuya couldn't even finish the sentence before Dazai just pulled him to one of the alleys. Just as dirty as it is, and in particular, it is distinguished by its smell. "For real, can't people just clean this up?" Chuuya thought, grinding his teeth.
"Chuuya," Dazai said quietly, attracting the redhead's attention, "under no circumstances should you stand out, don't look suspicious, and most of all, don't use your skill."
Chuuya just glared at him meaningfully, his expression annoyed because, like Dazai of all people, is to tell him not to stand out while wearing bandages that stand out in shit.
Ignoring him, Dazai added, "We need to get some money and a place to sleep, and find out where we are and how to get back to Yokohom."
"I'm going to have a goddamn headache over all this," Chuuya said irritably, already thinking about what wine he should buy to relax.
"Chibi is such an alcoholic"
"HAAA !? At least I'm not a suicide geek!" Chuuya bit back, then added "and stop calling me that, I'm still growing!"
"Yes, yes, chibi," he said in a melodious voice. Chuuya just gritted his teeth.
After a moment of silence, they both left the alley and started walking straight, without any purpose. Dazai thought about what to do, of course he had the idea that this was the future. "what will be it will be", he thought to himself. Chuuya, on the other hand, was annoyed because he knew he would have to steal again to survive, he didn't want to do it again.
The feeling that someone was watching them was still there.
They both landed in the park, quietly brooding, nice enough if they had bothered about it. Sitting on a bench by the fountain, one could say that they looked like a couple there. There was a glow of lamps coming from the fountain. And around them were cherry trees and red rose bushes. Pretty romantic.
Dazai spoke first, "We'll have to steal"
"I know that," said Chuuya.
"How do you feel about this, you must have done this before, right?" Dazai said with a faint note in his voice, he had nothing wrong with that, he wasn't! He just wanted to play on Chuuya's nerves. Chuuya knew about it. Still, he was caught in this trap, so his only solution was to try to strangle Dazai. If only he knew how much the consequence would be later.
"Hey! Leave him alone," a rather low voice called out. It came from an already quite old policeman who had to be lucky enough to pass this way at that moment. The policeman did not know that they knew each other, it looked as if the redhead wanted to kill the brunet in cold blood in this broad daylight.
Chuuya, noticing that he might end up in a bigger swamp, took his hands from Dazai's neck. Dazai, being a little shit, pretended to be shaken as if what Chuuya had done was a traumatic experience for him.
"This is a misunderstanding," the redhead said to the old man. However, the policeman paid almost no attention to him as if he weren't a threat. All he did was stand in front of Dazai and tried to calm him down by saying "you were brave" "you did well keeping your composure" and the like. It was torture for Chuuya. Especially when the bandaged bastard gave him a special smile when the policeman was not looking.
"I have to take you two to the police station," the policeman said finally, turning to face the redhead.
"But it's just a misunder-" the guy interrupted before Chuuya could finish.
"Must I use force?" he said quite sharply.
"No authority .. tsk," Chuuya replied irritated.
The policeman walked over to the redhead and pulled a little too hard on the arm. Chuuya almost fell over because of it, but didn't complain and started walking.
Dazai hums slightly in the background.
