Chapter Text
As Aizawa’s team entered the next room a wave of nausea hit him like a truck. The place smelt like a hospital, drenched in bleach and blood. Every corner looked like it was being held together by bolts and verity's of mold. How was this place even standing? If there was a inch of this place that didn't look like a hazard to his life Azaiwa didn't see it. "Alright everyone remember in and out the police will handle collecting anything they find value to just keep on your feet. Our job is just to collect and move the everyone out." A voice that probably belongs to one of the team's captains echoed through his earpiece. His team had been tasked with checking out the 5th and 4th floors which became more nerve racking looking at the walls that seemed to have trouble holding themselves upright. Shaking of his nerves Aizawa lead his team up the stairs into the 4th floor and gave everyone orders to par into groups of two and check out the rooms. There was nothing phenomenal on the 4th floor, just a few villains that had been tied down or knocked out by the raid team that had entered not minutes before them but the 5th floor had only brought questions. The mold and distinctive smell of bleach had disappeared only to be replaced by so much wiring and pieces of machinery that his team had a hard time even navigating the hallways and locating the door's to room's. There have been a couple of heroes who had gotten themselves trapped in the mess of wires and machinery and needed help removing themselves but the truly horrifying part of the floor was in the last hallway he needed to navigate down. One of the door's had been hidden behind bundles of wires and had to be priced open. When he finally got into the room to look around he almost puked. The smell of blood had come back and hit him with full force. Scattered around the room were large black and white coffins and a black and white plush bear in the center of the room holding what looked like a postcard. Each coffin had a steel plate on the front and a small window that allowed Aizawa to see what was inside. Kids. There were kids locked in the coffins. Aizawa quickly hopped on his com's requested assistant and that he had found 15 kids Locked in coffins. As his team ran into the room Aizawa ran over to the closest coffin to pry it open. Looking down at the plate on the coffin, Aizawa questioned himself. Ultimate supreme leader was written in large letters on the plate along with a red x."What the hell did that mean?" Aizawa quickly shook it off looking at the kid.. how was now looking back at him. "Hey, we've got a kid awake over here" Aizawa yelled to the rest of his team Before looking back at the kid to reassure him that he was in fact a hero and he was here to help. The kid didn't seem like he could understand him. The kid also looked like he was in a lot of pain so Aizawa quickly got to work on opening up the coffin. Hopefully the kid got the idea he was here to help. When Aizawa finally got the coffin to open the box a gray mist had flowed out of the coffin and the kid looked like he was about to pass out. Aizawa picked up the kid and proceeded to follow some of his team members out of the building towards the ambulance's lined up around the building. Aizawa noticed how small and light the kid was for what Aizawa guessed for his age. The kid was also littered in bruises and scars. As Aizawa put the kid down on a stretcher so the kid could be taken to a hospital Aizawa could only hope for the best. Hope that this kid will be okay. That he could have a chance to go back to a normal-ish life. Aizawa shook his head. Now was not the time for this, he still has to go collect the rest of the kids locked up in that building. With that Aizawa turned around and ran back into the building.
