"~I just wanna stay in that lavender haze~"
Adrien's eyes wake up to the the beautiful sunrise blaring through his windows. He takes a deep breath, exhales and says "Marinette" in a lovesick tone. He gets up from his bed and heads towards the bathroom to get ready for the day. When he heads downstairs to eat breakfast, he is surprised to see his father walking towards the kitchen. "Good Morning, Adrien." Gabriel surprisingly in a less colder tone
"Good morning, Father." Adrien said in a surprise tone. He reaches the end of the staircase and follows his father into the kitchen to see that Nathalie already had both of their breakfast's served. "Good Morning Nathalie!" Adrien happily greeted.
"Good morning Adrien, you're in a good mood today." Nathalie said pointing out Adrien's giddy behavior, unusual on most mornings.
"Well I guess I'm just very excited to go to school today." Adrien explained while eating his breakfast. Which consisted of a bowl of fruits and a toast with avocado paired with a cup of coffee.
"Ah. What are you excited for exactly?" Nathalie questioned, while sitting across from him. She is not currently eating because she already ate earlier.
"To see someone..." he said hesitantly not looking up from his plate.
"Could this certain someone be a girl?" Nathalie inquired trying to not show too much interest to remain professional.
"Yeah. She's really beautiful." Adrien responded trying his best not getting lost in his daydream of Marinette.
Nathalie and Gabriel gave each other a look. Gabriel who doesn't really show emotions suddenly expressed that he is surprised or interested in who the girl is. Before Gabriel could ask about who the girl is, Adrien abruptly got up off his chair and yelled "I FORGOT TO PACK MY SCHOOLBAG AND MY COAT" and ran out of the kitchen.
"What do you think you're doing, Gabriel?" Nathalie said harshly. "Why are you suddenly having breakfast with Adrien now out of nowhere."
"I can't spend anytime with my son, Nathalie?" Gabriel argued back. "I want to be in his life, even if he barely acknowledge me today, I need to be with him before I run out of time." He said sliding up his sleeve exposing the black skin from the cataclysm that spread. Which caused Nathalie to bounce back. "I know you don't want me to pursue the miraculous of Ladybug and Chat Noir, but if I don't, Adrien won't have anyone to look over him."

Marinette wakes up to her 3rd alarm of the morning. She climbs down from her loft bed and proceeds to get ready. She runs downstairs and is greeted by her mother. "Good morning, Sweetheart"
"Good morning, Maman." Marinette said in a monotone voice. She quickly grabbed a croissant and her coat and ran to the door while yelling out "Goodbye Maman!!"
She ran down the crosswalk and up the stairs. Luckily class hasn't started so she wasn't late. While running to her locker she runs into something causing her to stumble back and drop her croissant. :(
"Marinette??" Adrien said while offering her a hand to help her stand up. (And so he can hold her hand :) ) She gladly took it, grateful that Adrien was always very understanding whenever she trips over him. "T-Thank you.." Marinette said with a slight blush on her cheeks. "Anytime, NOT THAT YOU TRIP A LOT, I MEAN YOU ARE CLUMSY BUT I MEAN ILL ALWAYS HELP YOU WHEN YOU DO FALL FOR ME I MEAN ON ME WAIT NO I MEAN-" Adrien started to blurt out and moving his hands. Marinette looked at him confused but endearingly. She was about to comfort him but she got interrupted by giggles.
Behind them their best friends. Alya was recording this moment laughing with Nino right beside her laughing aswell. Adrien started to turn red out of embarrassment and they both started to head over the Alya and Nino. "I guess Marinette's habits are contagious" Alya said between laughs. "Yeah dude you were all like-" Nino said while imitating Adrien's previous movements. Adrien hid his face with his hand on his forehead.
Alya walked with Marinette to her locker. "Marinette im serious Adrien LIKES you" Alya said trying to convince Marinette but she thought otherwise. "Alya you know I can't be with Adrien. Because of my love for him I lost a lot and I can share everything with him just yet. Plus you know someone else caught my eye." Marinette explained. "You fell for another blond green-eyed guy. Are you sure you don't have a type?" Alya asked "WHAT. NO. It just happens that they have similar features thats all!!" Marinette panicked trying to come up for an excuse for that. "Is it the wrong time for me to bring up the reoccurring theory that Adrien might be Chat Noir???" Alya teased.
Marinette slamed her locker. "We are DONE talking about this." She said in an annoyed tone and then they proceeded to walk to class.

In class Adrien kept trying to discreetly glance at Marinette to take in her beauty. His heart fluttered every he saw her. Shes like a breath of fresh air, she gives him hope.
After the class ended, and they all walked out Nino pulled Adrien aside. "Dude what's up with you today? You've been so off lately." Nino asked showing some concern of his best bro's well being. "Don't worry Nino, I'm okay it's just that- okay don't tell anyone but I really like Marinette." Adrien said shyly, this is the first person (other than Kagami and Luka) to know this. "Woah, that's amazing dude." Nino said with his eyebrows raised in shock. "So when are you gonna tell her, Romeo?" Nino teased. "Well I've been trying every chance I get but I never get to." Adrien said disappointed. "It's okay bro, you'll get there. And soon you two will be like me and Alya" Nino said reassuringly.
The school day goes like normal, stolen glances between Adrien and Marinette, Chloe making herself the center of attention and Alya and Nino being a power couple.

"Okay I'm glad you all could come to the art room on such a short notice." Alya started. "I'm sure you all are aware that 'Adrienette' is having some trouble sailing to paradise but we all know they are co-captains of the ship. So I brought Nath and Marc to present you the plan." Alya said
"Okay so we know that Marinette likes Adrien and Adrien likes her, but they can't seem to see that they have mutual feelings for each other." Nath said.
"So how do we help?" Kim said standing up from his seat excitedly.
"We could do an activity to make us show each other how much we love each other!!" Rose said sweetly.
"They have a 98.9% compatibility with each other! We need to try to get it up to a 100%" Max said while pushing up his glasses.
"Or we could just lock them in a room together and don't let them out until they figure it out." Juleka said in a loud monotone mumble.
"Well let's try something more simple." Alya said
"We have a Kitty Section rehearsal Saturday, we can't we just invite both of them there?" Ivan offered.
"That might just work" Alya started to think until her thoughts were interrupted by a blonde rich girl.
"Uhh why are you trying to set up MY ADRIKINS with DUPAIN-CHENG?" Chloe yelled.
"Because Adrien likes Mari!!" Rose said innocently.
"WHAT? That's ridiculous, utterly ridiculous." Chloe argued.
"You're meaning to tell me you didn't see how Adrien was basically drooling over Marinette in class today?" Mylene said with an attitude and her arms crossed.
"No way, my Adrikins fell in love with baker girl" Chloe said shocked, thinking back to earlier in class that morning. Everyone just watched her face go from shocked to confused to a smirk.
"Okay if Adrikins wants Dupain-Cheng then that's what he will get." Chloe said confidently.
"So let me get this straight, you are pro-Adrienette??" Alya asked.
"For Adrien's sake, I guess so. Anyways what's the plan?"

Outside the Art Room door was a sneaky fox. Who heard every detail she needed to hear of the plan. She walked down the stairs with a giant smirk planted on her face. She was gonna do everything possible to ruin adrienette.

*next day*
Rosalie is a straightforward girl. She has a binder schedule she also has an alliance ring for a digital schedule she takes everywhere to always be on top of things. As Student Government President she is bombarded with responsibilities, but she always manages to get them done right on time. Though some tasks may be more difficult than others she always gets it just right. Being president makes her responsible planning school wide activities. When she found out that Collège Françoise Dupont does not have a winter formal she was determined to show the students what they're missing out on. But planning a school dance is harder than it seems. There is only so much you can do with a small budget provided. But Rosalie will make it work.
She's walking down the halls confidently, steps pre-planned and her binder in hand until she gets a notification on her phone. The DJ she commissions bailed out and on top of that the caterer declined the order because of unavailability.
She is very stressed and can feel her eyes water. She hurries to reach the bathroom before tears of frustration pour out. She makes it just in time so she can save face. The Winter formal was in two weeks!! How can she find a caterer and a dj in such short notice. She wasn't used to things falling out of schedule or sudden change of plans. Letting the tears pour out, her sadness is taken by a dark evil energy. The dark butterfly went inside her binder schedule and a man spoke to her telepathically. He introduces himself as Monarch, and promises Rosalie he will help her as long as he recieves the 2 jewels he has been after for years now.
"Amaranthine, you can force anyone to do anything for you. I will also give you a little gift to assist you with the defeat of Ladybug and Chat Noir. Just remember after that I want you to give me the miraculous." Monarch said in a dark, evil, manipulative voice.
"You have yourself a deal Monarch" Amaranthine said with a smirk.

Class hasn't started yet so Adrien waited by the steps at the front to see Marinette. She was dressed all cozy in a pink puffy coat and some adorable earmuffs. Adrien didn't know if Marinette couldn't get anymore cuter. He smiled and waved at her and she waved back with that cute awkward smiled he always loved. Marinette walked towards him and saw him wearing the scarf. The one she made for him but he didn't know that. All that he knew is that it was a birthday gift from his father. No matter what, Marinette never had the heart to tell him the truth.
"The scarf b-brings out your eyes" Marinette hesitantly said to Adrien. Marinette doesn't know if its the cold or did his cheeks turn a little red?
"Thank you Marinette" Adrien said while scratching his neck. "You look beautiful in pink." He said complementing her back. Marinette was trying to fight back a smile but she couldn't.
Just as they were about to walk in, an akuma alert went off. They hear a loud crash from inside the school and see a girl in all purple just making people follow her demands. Disturbing their moment. "HAHA I THINK I LEFT MY GLOVES AT HOME" Marinette said while running down the steps. "HAHA UHH ME TOO" Adrien said as he ran inside the building into the bathroom.

"Tikki!!! I don't know what to do. I just flirted with ADRIEN and I barely stuttered and now im gonna see Chat. I don't know if I can choose between them." Marinette started to rant.
"Marinette breathe, we have an akuma to fight. And besides whatever decision you make can't be decided now" Tikki reassured.
"You're right, Tikki Spots On!"

"Ahh, Marinette..." Adrien sighed. "I can't believe an akuma ruined me walking to class with her.
"Settle down Romeo, you'll have other chances we have an akuma to take care of anyway." Plagg said while hugging a piece of camembert.
"Yeah... Plagg Claws Out."

Ladybug and Chat Noir arrived at the school where the akumatised villain previously was. Around them were people with a purple hue in their eyes doing unusual tasks. There was a few brooming the benches, some mopping windows and some dusting floors.
"Woah, reminds me of Rogercop" Chat Noir noted.
"Yeah, hopefully we dont become fugitives again" Ladybug said.
"Psst Ladybug. Over here." Alya whispered yelled to the hero
Ladybug and Chat Noir followed to voice which ended up coming from the door to the boiler room.
"Hey Alya, do you know anything about the akuma?" Ladybug asked. She knee it had to be a student from her school. She didn't get a good enough look since she was busy with Adrien.
"I think thats Rosalie. The student government president. Amaranthine has the same binder Rosalie always carries. I bet that is where the akuma is." Alya explained.
"Thanks, I'll go look for her." Chat Noir said and left. Leaving Alya and Ladybug alone. "So excited to see your favorite cat?" Alya teased. "I wish it was on better circumstances though." Ladybug begrudgingly said as she left and followed the direction Chat headed. Catching up to him, she notices how red his cheeks are. He probably is cold but she can't help but think he looks cute.
"Your red cheeks are cute." Ladybug shyly said. "Its probably cause its cold out." Chat calmly said focusing on finding Amaranthine. Ladybug couldn't help but feel hurt that Chat didn't notice another of her flirting attempts.
Finally Chat spots her at the Eiffel Tower standing like she's waiting for them to arrive. The two heroes proceed to go over to the Tower to purify the akuma.
Amaranthine was beautiful. She was a very tall tan skinned girl with platinum hair. She had purple thigh high boots and a skimpy tight purple dress. She had purple long elegant gloves and her purple binder. Where the akuma was in.
"Well well, guess who decided to show up. Spots and her pet cat." Amaranthine said maniacally.
"We are a superhero duo, he is not my pet. He is an equal and you should treat him as such." Ladybug said way too passionately which made Amaranthine laugh. "Not sorry I called your boyfriend a pet." She said rolling her eyes. "If you just give me your miraculous, this will all be over" Amaranthine said sassily.
"We will NEVER give you our miraculous" Ladybug yelled back. She launched herself onto the villain but the villain easily dodged her attack. "Catch me if you can." Amaranthine said maniacally as she jumped on rooftops.
They chased her around for a bit but lost sight of her. "Where could she be?" Ladybug said a bit annoyed. "Alya said she was the student government president of their school. Who could she be looking for?" Chat Noir thought out-loud. "She could be back at the school!" Ladybug responded. "You're amazing Chat Noir." Ladybug said endearingly. Chat was taken aback and scratched the back of his neck. "Thank you, M'lady" he responds with a smile.
They head back to the school where they check all the classrooms. They then check the principal's office and there she is lounging in his chair. "I was starting to wonder when you were going to arrive." Amaranthine said with a smirk. "Thought you two got caught up on each other" she maniacally laughed.
Heat rose in both of the heroes faces. Ladybug proceeds to fight Amaranthine with her hands. Amaranthine has amazing agility dodging all of her attempts. She keeps shooting lavender beams out of her book, to try and hit the heroes to command them. Chat Noir also jumps in to help Ladybug. Chat extends his baton and raises it, about to hit Amaranthine, but she interrupts his attack. Amaranthine calls out "Exaltation" giving her the power of clout. It sends both Chat Noir and Ladybug flying out of the principal's office window. The debris of the blast causes the air to have a slight lavender haze.
Both heroes groan from the pain on their backs caused by the blast. "Are you alright?" Chat asks her as he helps her up. "Im alright thanks kitty. But will need some luck to get to her." Ladybug says. She calls out her Lucky Charm and receives a spray paint bottle.
"What the hell am I supposed to do with this??" Ladybug thought out loud. And then it clicked. She whispered the plan to Chat Noir and he listened very closely. Chat Noir goes and looks for the items needed for the plan to work while Ladybug distracts Amaranthine.
"Hey! Amaranthine!" Ladybug said in a loud yell.
"Where's your kitty, bug??" She asked suspiciously. "You'll see." Ladybug said in a smirk.
Chat went to a nearby (surviving) classroom to retrieve the items needed. He grabbed a bag large rubber bands. He went back to where Ladybug was. She saw him and was waiting for the right moment. Luckily Amaranthine did not see him. When she was distracted he threw the spray can after he put the rubber band on to hold down the nozzle. Amaranthine immediately dropped her book in panic. "My dress!!!" She exclaimed covered in red paint. In the meantime Ladybug grabbed the book and threw it to Chat Noir. "Chat now!!" He called out his cataclysm and destroyed the book. In its ashes, an akuma appeared out. Ladybug purified it and Chat went to make sure Rosalie was okay.
"What happened??" Rosalie asked in fear. "Don't worry ma'am you're safe now." Chat reassured. Ladybug walked over to Chat Noir to do their fist bump. "Pound it" the heroes cheered. Ladybug picked up the spray bottle lucky charm. "Miraculous Ladybug!!" She exclaimed as she threw the lucky charm in the air to fix all the damage with her magical ladybugs. Her earrings beeped reminding her she's almost out of time. "Make sure she gets to school kitty. bug out!" She waved as she yo-yoed her way to an alley behind her school.

"Marinette are you alright?" Adrien called out walking towards her as soon as he saw her. He proceeded to hug her, he was very worried for her safety. "I-I'm alright, Adrien" she timidly said. Stunned by the fact he hugged her. "Could he really like her more than a friend" she thought to herself. "Im glad you're okay." he said along with his charming model smile. "We should get to class now." He suggested. Adrien really wanted to walk with her to class and he wasn't gonna let an akuma ruin his chance.

"Alya I don't know what to do." Marinette cried out to Alya on a late night FaceTime call. "I know I said I'm going to forget about Adrien, but he has been so hard to ignore. But Chat is so compassionate and sweet as well and I'm just stuck." She continued on. "Mari, you loved Adrien since the beginning of the year and now you are stuck between him and a superhero you do not know." Alya advised. "Try things out with Adrien first. If you're still not sure after try to pursue Chat Noir" she said. "Okay I'll do that Als." Marinette said. "So... Marinette are you free Saturday?"
