“Aaand~ That’s a wrap!” Kiana says as she smiles gleefully when she checks the leaderboard to see her name in the top five. Her eyes flick towards her other monitor as she sees the chat move at an unreadable speed. Donations filled with notes of congratulations caught her eye for a second before she started thanking each and every generous person.
She brings her knees close to her chest as she leans back in her chair, effectively becoming a warm ball. Her glasses reflected the light of the monitor in the dark room.
The door to her room cracks open ever so gently as bare feet made patterns on the carpet floor. Warm hands wrap around her neck, the breath of the person was shallow and all too pleasant against the coldness of her skin.
Kiana hits the mute button of her mic before leaning back into the bundle of warmth. Eyes fixated on the smooth contours of Mei’s face. She is almost tempted to grab her face and devour her entirely, without a single care.
“Hello.” Mei says warmly, lips curved into a familiar smile.
“Hi.” Kiana replies breathly, lifting herself up to plant a small peck on her lips. A mischievous grin spread across her features when she saw the pink blush on her girlfriend’s face.
“Come here often?” Kiana asks playfully, to which Mei replies with a grumble of her own. She giggles light heartedly, slipping out of the chair to hug the taller woman.
“I missed you…” Kiana mumbles against her coat, placing her ear right next to her heart. The ever same rhythm makes up for a melody that was hard to forget, which held a special place in the white-head’s mind.
Mei chuckles heartily as she wraps her arms around Kiana, rocking back and forth for what seemed like eternity. She feels the woman slip away from the hug and just like that her arms felt all too lonely. Mei sees her say a hurried goodbye to the stream and smirks.
“I have to go now, something really important popped up. Sorry guys…” Kiana apologizes, without a hint of attention to her surroundings.
“Yeah, sorry for taking her away from you guys! We got a date, now shoo~” Mei says cheerfully from over her shoulder and into the mic. A satisfied grin dancing on her lips when she sees Kiana open and close her mouth like a fish.
Words formulated and failed time and time again as the white head tried to process what had happened. Mei wheezes when Kiana punches her in the stomach, hard. It still wasn’t able to stop her from laughing though.
Meanwhile the chat was having a field day after receiving this information.
“I hate you, I hate you. I won’t talk to you, shut up, get out.”
“Aww… But I was just poking some fun, baby.” Mei mumbles as she hugs the frustrated Kaslana from behind. That does earn her an elbow to her sides but that didn’t deter her from stopping.
“I just… I thought we wouldn’t reveal our relationship yet…” Kiana says with a small pout, refusing to meet Mei’s jovial eyes. She leans forward and out, trying to get away from the arms trapping her in the place.
Unfortunately for her, Mei wasn’t willing to let her get away anytime soon.
“Let go.” Kiana growls, trying her hardest to look intimidating in front of the smiling Raiden. She feels the arms around her tighten just a little, rooting her to the spot.
“Mei I am not joking, let go. ”
“Don’t wanna.”
“For heaven’s sake, Mei-”
Her world spins around for a moment as she comes face to face with her partner. Amethyst orbs drilling a hole in her own cerulean ones, the ever same smile plastered on her face makes Kiana’s will crack bit by bit.
“Still wanna go?” Mei asks, all too close for a second. Kiana whines in frustration as her body becomes pliable against the brute force of Raiden Mei.
“That’s what I thought.”
Sometimes, Kiana wishes to throw her out of the window.
