But sometimes that faith pays out, and the fruits of their labor can be witnessed by their own eyes. Kiana and her friends have not yet met. Overseer Otto still waits, patient as ever. The snakes still remain in the shadows.
Yet, in another universe, the hero's sacrifice was made long, long ago. They have returned to a vibrant land, to their loved ones, to a foreign world that is better than how they left it. But their work is not yet done. There are others in need of their help. And they have the means to grant it.
The embers of war have long passed the hero's world, but are stirring in another. But, they know, with a certainty as deep as their bones, that they can end this story the way they want to. They've seen it all, observed countless universes. This is merely another.

Summary
A story of what if Kiana, before meeting Mei and Bronya, was already a little more mature? What if the time she spent alone all those years after her father left had already taught her a lesson in life?
Even if Kiana cannot remember clearly the events that led to the departure of her father, she could not help but to think that her very existence was what brought endless suffering and miseries.
Holding on the promise that she made with her father, Kiana set foot on her journey to fight the Honkai around the world and protect the people, following her father’s example. As she thinks that fighting was the only thing she ever knew.
As three years goes by, Kiana sticks with the habit of not get too close to people and avoid staying in the same place for too long. Her time in Nagazora would not be different. Or so she thought…
