"You know, we can always try that plan I proposed," Jinshi offered once the Conn-Pod doors slid shut with a hissing clunk, a sly smile curling his lips. There was a distinct click through both their helmets, indicating he had switched off his microphone.
Maomao mirrored him and muted her own, understanding the value of not letting certain ears overhear what he was implying. "I fear ending every mission with sex might create strange associations, sir."
"Or, it could act as a good motivator. It certainly would for me."
She leveled him with a very unimpressed look, to which he only smiled wider. A beat passed, broken only by the bustling activity of the staff, the low roar of the Shatterdome preparing to open, and the clicking of the shifting motion rig below their feet.
"Fine," she huffed. "If it'll keep you awake."
