He and Yamada had a very long talk, looking closely at every letter that Izuku gave them to make sure that it was really Shinsou’s handwriting and not just making a mistake. Both of them were surprised that their son could do something like this, especially to Izuku, who was so sweet.
The next day they had homeroom for the first class, and Aizawa knew what he had to do. Last night he and Yamada talked about the whole Shinsou situation, thinking about how to punish the boy for doing something so fucked up like this.
They both agreed that the boy shouldn’t be in the hero course.
The class started and everyone was waiting for Aizawa to say something.
“I’ll start by saying that everyone did well on their essays, especially Denki who somehow managed to write over 17 pages” The kid gave an awkward laugh “good job class”.
Iida shouted a ‘thank you’ while the others were cheering between them.
“Now, the next important thing I need to do” the class went silent “I need to expel someone, someone that does nothing good for our class and school” he saw Momo turn very serious and look at every student in the room.
“Hitoshi Shinsou you are expelled from U.A, you can pack your things now and get ready to fill the papers for you leaving the school” The classroom quickly turned into chaos, they were asking ‘why’ or ‘how’ while Izuku stared at him with a confused face and Shinsou looking at him like he killed his entire family.
“Sensei, hold on, why are you expelling him? He’s doing so well in classes!” That was Iida’s voice, he didn’t blame the student, he didn’t know his reason.
“You should as Shinsou himself, you should ask him why he bullied and suicide-baited Midoriya for an entire week” There was a shocked gasp “You should ask Shinsou why he tried to make Midoriya leave the school” he walked in front of the said boy’s table “You should ask him why”.
And again, the class turned into chaos, most of them were asking Shinsou questions while the others were comforting Izuku.
What Aizawa didn’t expect was Bakugo to be the one who was comforting Midoriya the most, the blonde had a hand on his shoulder while whispering to him. Shouta smiled to himself at that interaction, they were finally getting better.
“Leave my class Shinsou” The boy looked at him with disbelief in his eyes before throwing his bag on the ground and running out of the class.
“Now let’s continue the class”.

“You stupid nerd why didn’t you tell anyone” Bakugo and Midoriya were on the roof eating their lunches “ I didn’t really think that it was that important, to be honest, I thought the letters will stop” the boy shrugged before taking a bite of his sandwich.
“he told you to kill yourself Deku! I-I know I said that too but!...” Bakugo didn’t seem to have any words “but. I have no excuse for what I said, I-“ “If you try to apologize I’ll jump off this roof right now, you’re so bad at apologizing”.
The blonde let an offended gasp at that “How dare you! I’ll show you how good I am at apologizing nerd! Better than you!” then he tackled Izuku to the ground playfully.
“Enough boys, we have something to talk about” behind them was Shouta, waiting for them to get up.
“Sensei!” Izuku sounded happier and that could only make Aizawa smile more “I’m glad you’re feeling better kid, but we still have to talk more about what happened” the kid shifted so he would fully face Shouta.
Bakugo got his bento and left, leaving the two alone.
Aizawa took a sit next to Izuku “Did you know it was Shinsou, Midoriya?”.
He shook his head “Didn’t know it was him”.
“Why didn’t you tell anyone, kid? You could’ve come to me” Midoriya was fidgeting uncomfortably now.
“Didn’t think you would believe me, since, you know…” He blinked away the tears “he is-“ “was” “your son”.
Aizawa looked over at the green-haired boy “I would’ve believed you Midoriya, no matter what Shinsou was to me because I know you won’t lie about something so serious” he placed an arm around the younger “Plus, you’re also my kid, aren’t you?” Izuku smiled back at him.
“You’re the best Shouta” the older hummed in response.
Both of them ended up staying the whole lunch break on the rooftop talking about whatever was going through their heads. Izuku shared his whole story with Aizawa, talking about he got bullied by Bakugo but the boy apologized and was trying his best, talking about how the teachers from his old school were mean and unfair to him.
They talked about One For All, he told Aizawa that he got it on the day of the exam stopping when his teacher(father?) shot him a worried look.
They talked about what Izuku will want to do when he finally becomes a hero, Aizawa was definitely surprised when the boy told him that he’ll like to be an underground hero too, but he had One for All so he didn’t really have a choice.
They talked about how he and Yamada met and how they fell in love, how in high school Aizawa was skipping classes too and was actually a rebellious teenager. They talked about Oboro too, Aizawa told him the story since he trusted Izuku, and the younger gave him a hug not wanting to let go.
After a moment of silence, Izuku spoke again.
”wait, Is this making me Yamada’s kid too?”
“Brat, you think about Yamada and not me? I’m hurt” they both laughed at the situation.
“How about you come to our apartment after classes? I’m sure Yamada wants to know how you’re doing”
“Sure, I could do that, only if you’re cooking tho”
“Brat”.
And if anyone noticed Yamada and Aizawa being more gentle with Midoriya, no one was commenting on it.
