And that is the story of Sasori and how he entered into immortality as the greatest proponent of puppetry since Chikamatsu Monzaemon himself.

However, this story is not the end of this AU.

I also have many other stories to tell, including - but not limited to - Making a Move (In the other Direction) (Itachi and Kisame's romance), Playing with Pups (the story of how Shizuma realises that might doesn't always make right), Living a Lifetime (Hidan and Kakuzu's story) and Healing Hands, the story of how Sakura saves lives.

Chikamatsu Monzaemon in Naruto is based of the Japanese playwright with the same name, widely regarded as the greatest playwright in Japanese history. He wrote both for the puppet theatre jōruri and the life-action theatre kabuki, and is often called the Japanese Shakespeare.
