Is It Abduction If You Go Willingly?

Chapter 3: The Triplets meet Toshinori

Summary:

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been gone for a while! I had 3 mental breakdowns and my friends had me checked in to an out-patient psychiatric unit! Anyways, here's a very fluffy and sweet chapter, where new friends show up and perhaps there is a new relationship blooming??

Chapter Text

“Slow down Tou!!! I can’t keep up!!!” Kei yelled, pouting. He was already sprinting as fast as he could, but Tou was so much faster, he wasn’t able to catch up. Tou laughed from farther away, mask almost falling off his face. “C’mon birdy! You’re just slow!” He jumped over a stone, moving past a girl with bunny ears who glared at him. Kei wasn’t that lucky or agile, however, and ended up tripping on the rock as his mask flew off. He landed braces first on the girl, sending them both careening to the ground. Fortunately, he had managed to shift to his humanoid form just in time. Unfortunately, he was stuck.

"He'oh." He waved at the girl, trying to pull himself off of her sweater with his other hand. Why were his braces so tangled?? How did this even happen? "Mah a'e i' Kei." Kei introduced himself. He was at least going to be polite, especially since he had most likely ruined her sweater. She gave him a weird look. “You’re stuck to my sweater. Why are you introducing yourself?” She asked. Kei shrugged. “I wan’ed tuh ‘e ‘olite.” He explained, and she grinned. “I like you. You’re weird. My name is Rumi.” The girl, now known as Rumi, introduced herself.

The next few minutes were spent trying to disentangle themselves, until Tou walked up and simply yanked him off. Kei yelped, falling back onto his ass. “Hey!” He pouted, taking back his mask that Tou offered him. He quickly put it on, letting go of his humanoid form and shifting back to normal once he knew for sure that he was secure. Rumi gave them both a look. “Why d’you wear masks?” She asked, and the brothers exchanged glances. “Religion,” Tou answered immediately. The girl blinked once, twice, before shrugging. “Ok. Do you want to play tag? Properly, this time.”

“Sure!” Kei beamed, and soon, Kei and Rumi were running around, playing and giggling as children do. Tou had returned to where Onahh was most definitely not supervising them, tapping away at his tablet, face covered by a mask similar to the kids’. Koh was situated on his lap, drawing a flower on a notepad, box of crayons beside it. “Pa, Kei made a friend.” Tou announced, flopping down on the seat in front of them.

Onahh looked up and set his tablet down, Koh mimicking his movements cheerfully. “That’s good. Have the two of you been responsible with your masks? I’m hoping there have been no incidents,” he said, and Koh nodded.

“No incidents,” Koh repeated. He was currently in a phase of repeating or mimicking everything his fathers did and said, which while Per found it absolutely adorable, the gun incident had made it so everyone had to keep all dangerous items away from the tiny hybrid. “Weeeeeell, Kei lost his mask for a moment, but he shifted before anything happened, don’t worry. He tripped, that’s all,” Tou answered.

Onahh sighed, and pet Koh’s hair. “And no one saw his real form?” He asked, and Tou shook his head. “No one saw, Pa. Swear on it.” He reached over and grabbed a crayon and a piece of paper, wanting to draw as well.

After a few seconds of thought, Onahh turned to look at where Jår stood hidden, keeping guard. The kids loved going out, running around and having fun, but that stood dangerous for their little family. They were intergalactic criminals, after all. Safety measures had to be taken. After getting an all clear from Jår, he gently moved Koh to the side, before standing up. Koh pouted for a moment, before putting down his crayon and standing up as well.

Onahh walked over to where Kei and Rumi had stopped for a break, sitting in one of the playground’s playhouses. Koh followed him excitedly, having to run slightly to keep up with his father. “So, I see you’ve made a friend, little one.” He said, grunting slightly as Koh ran into his leg to gaze up at his older brother.

“Hi Pa! This is Rumi, my new friend!!” Kei waved his hand at Rumi, who tilted her head. “You guys are a weird family.” She commented, before hopping down from the playhouse, ears twitching. “My mom’s here. I’ll see you here in two days, Kei. Same time.” She stated, and Kei nodded. “Ok, I’ll be here!!” He agreed excitedly, making Onahh inwardly facepalm. Kei was way too agreeable.

After Kei said his goodbyes, and the girl grinned and waved before jogging away, Onahh picked up his seven-year-old. “Kei, don’t you think that girl was pushing you around a bit too much?” he asked, and Kei shook his head. “Noooo. Just cuz she’s loud n ass- asser- asserive, doesn’t mean she’s mean.”

Kei wriggled out of Onahh’s arms, just as his phone began to ring. He pulled it out to see a familiar number calling him. He pressed the answer button, free hand moving to pet Koh’s head. “Hello, Toshinori. What is it this time? I told you I’m not working today.”

“Ah, Doctor… I was at a french-themed bakery, and I’ve come across lavender macarons, and you mentioned you enjoyed the taste of lavender… and I ended up quite impulsively purchasing a dozen.”

“I’m not at my office, Toshinori. My office is closed today.”

“Ah, I see. May I ask where you are, if it’s not too private a thing to ask?”

“I’m at the park, with my sons.”

“You have children?” Toshinori sounded so genuinely surprised, Onahh couldn’t help but snicker.

“I do, three of them. They’re adopted.” Onahh reached down, propping his phone with his shoulder, and picked Koh up. Koh squealed at the surprise action, before wrapping his arms around Onahh’s neck.

“I… see. I did not expect that.”

“Well, I’m sure you wouldn’t. I’m not very open about my private life.”

“In… In any case, Doctor, may I ask which park you are? I’d like to give you these, as I’m personally not a fan of sweets myself.”

“And you still bought a box of Macarons?”

“I can be quite impulsive, I’m afraid, and the vendor was quite the charismatic fellow.”

Onahh sighed. Toshinori seemed to be quite bullheaded sometimes. “I’m at the park near the library, the large one, a block from my office.”

“Ah! I’m only a few buildings away! How wonderful!”

“I see… Well, I’m sure I cannot stop you, so I will warn my guard that you’re not a villain coming to kill me or my sons.”

“Kill!” Koh repeated, lifting a small fist up in the air. “No, don’t repeat that, little one.” Onahh groaned.

“Repeat what?” Toshinori asked, on the other side of the line.

“Nothing. Goodbye, Toshinori.”

“Wai-” Onahh hung up before Toshinori could finish, and put his phone away.

Onahh focused his attention on Koh, who had been watching him intently. Koh was much smarter than he seemed, no matter how childishly he acted. He’d seen too much, too young. Perhaps that was why he acted that way. “Koh, what’s going on in that little head of yours?” He asked absentmindedly, playing with his son’s white curls.

Koh only patted his chest in reply, most likely smiling under his brightly painted mask. Onahh laughed, and returned to where his two other sons were, Jår having moved to sit beside them. Onahh could tell he was still aware, posture slightly rigid with one hand free and floating near a hidden holster. “Jår,” he called out, “A client of mine is arriving in a few moments. Tall, lanky, blond and too loud.”

Jår saluted in response, but Tou looked up excitedly. “We get to learn about your job?!” He asked. “No, you won’t. He is simply coming to deliver something to me. Then, he will leave quickly.” Onahh answered, setting Koh down beside Kei. “Awww, you never let us know anything !!” Tou complained. “With good reason, kiddo. Onahh works with some dangerous stuff.” Jår bumped shoulders with Tou, who pouted.

“Well I lived on the streets, Pops. I can handle dark ‘n dangerous,” Tou said. “No, you can’t kiddo. Let it go, bud. You’ll learn when you’re older. Promise.” Jår pulled him close, as Tou seemed to become placated by the answer. Onahh remained standing, arms crossed as he looked around for Toshinori. He wanted to get this over with as soon as possible.

Soon, the blond human arrived, looking all too happy with himself, holding a gold-trimmed brown cardboard dessert box. “Ah, Doctor!” He called out, beaming. Toshinori jogged over, holding the box as carefully as he could.

“Hello, Toshinori.” Onahh greeted him tiredly, already wanting the interaction to end. He didn’t enjoy interacting with his clients out of office, especially not his sociable ones. “Doctor, are these your sons you spoke about?” Toshinori asked, glancing at the boys. “Yes. They are. You may not know their na-” “I’m Kei!” Kei interrupted Onahh, voice bright with excitement. “I’m seven!”

Onahh slapped his mask as Toshinori grinned. “Are you? Well, you may call me Toshinori.” He sat down at the table, and Onahh seemed to deflate even more. “And what about your brothers?”

Kei grabbed Tou’s arm first. “This is Tou, he’s nine. He’s reallyyyy cool ‘n very good at gardening!” He said, and Tou simply lifted his head to gaze at Toshinori through his mask. He looked familiar…

Kei then gently pat Koh’s head, who looked up from where he’d been drawing once again. “And this is Koh! He’s turning seven next week!” Koh waved. “He doesn’t talk much tho, but that’s ok cuz he’s the best hugger.” Kei explained, and Toshinori nodded sagely. “Of course. Hugs are quite important.”

Onahh placed his hand on Toshinori’s shoulder, and the blond turned to face him. “You are interrupting our family time. Place on the table what you came to deliver, and leave,” he said, and Toshinori almost seemed to deflate. He put down the macaron box and stood back up, before recovering his energy. “Your sons wear masks like you, how come?”

“They’re young, and because I myself wish to stay anonymous, so shall they.” Onahh answered, arms crossed. “You are not to interact with them any longer.” He added, and Toshinori almost seemed to pout, with the way the corners of his lips turned down. It was almost amusing on his 34-year-old face. Almost.

“Doctor, I’m not some kind of monster, you know that. You just-” Onahh covered Toshinori’s mouth, turning to look at Tou, who was very obviously listening in. “Be quiet. And go. I won’t let you near my children again.”

He let Toshinori see his children again. It had first happened when they were leaving just as he arrived for a physiotherapy session, then again as they arrived early to spend time with him after homeschooling with Per. Soon, it became a habit. Every week, Toshinori would arrive when the kids would be visiting, arms full of gifts, and ready to tell them more stories of his heroics.

Once they’d learned he was All Might, they’d almost gone wild. Toshinori became Uncle Tosh, and he had been unofficially accepted into their clan, much to Onahh’s dismay. Now, even Per, Jår and Kír knew him and greeted him as a friend. So, Onahh eventually gave up, and stopped fighting it.

Even Elsie loved him, for goodness’ sake. His disembodied AI always greeted him cheerfully whenever he arrived, and it drove him wild. Why did everyone like him so much? He was so loud, touchy, and friendly… thoughtful… Onahh couldn’t fathom it.

Onahh looked up from his emails with a potential client in France- whose baby had been born very sickly- as Elsie announced Toshinori’s arrival. He picked up his mask and put it on before allowing her to let him in, standing up from his desk. “Hello Toshinori, on time as always,” he said, walking over to greet his client.

“Onahh! It is wonderful to see you!” Toshinori said loudly, beaming as usual. “I have unfortunate news to tell you, I’m afraid this may be our last session together. I have been called down to the United States once again to help their current roster of Top 10 Heroes.” He was wringing his hands, clearly upset. It was flummoxing. But… it made Onahh’s heart clench.

“I… see.” Onahh cleared his throat, before turning away. “Well, let’s make this one worth it. Have you been working on your training regularly?” He asked, tapping his hand against his thigh. “Yes, I have! I follow your exercise plan every single day and it’s really helped with the joint pain from my quirk!” Toshinori answered, following him to the exam table.

“Then, this should not take long.” Onahh set up the table, calling on Elsie to send down the specially made physiotherapy equipment he used for Toshinori and his augmented strength. He had a special idea for that day’s training.
